We all somehow know that taller people are getting more respect, has a better chance of promotion in their careers and are perceived as being more attractive. So many people have a secret wish to increase their height.

However, worthwhile wish is dashed when we reach adulthood because we are taught that we cannot grow any taller by then. Fortunately, this need not be the case because there are some techniques that can help you to grow a couple of inches taller even though you are an adult.

What you eat is another critical factor to increase your height. The first thing you should do is to avoid junk foods. These foods are not called junk foods no reason. Eating junk deprives your body of many nutrients and can actually stunt your verticle growth! These foods because of its nutrient deficiencies may also weaken your bones and even shrink your height when you reach middle age.

Next, supplement your diet with good multivitamins and minerals so as to ensure that you have enough nutrients to feed and repair your body. You may also add calium and glucosamine into the mix as calcium is essential for your bone health and glucosamine for your joint health.

Next thing you can do is to start a regular exercise routine. Any exercise done with sufficient regularity and with enough intensity can help you to produce more human growth hormone(Hgh) and testosterone which are important hormones for height increase and cellular repair. Regular exercise when combined with a healthy diet and having a good posture can be very beneficial to your body in many other ways.

This is because the pitcher's right arm is exercised and stretched more often than his left arm. The same is true about football quarterbacks in that their throwing arm is longer than their other arm.
